Hello again!!! This will be one of many deckbuilding styles that usually observed in decks today.
As mentioned before here are the type of pokemon according to some deckbuilding sites.
Main Attacker: These of course a mostly on the frontline that can give suitable amount of damage, good poke-powers and pokebodies and can withstand attacks of the defending pokemon for more than two turns. One good example are the EX's and evolution cards. Although they are hard to set play because they will evolve, many trainer cards can help them get out. So it is not enough to have only one copy of it. But if you still have one, make ways to get it out or retrieve them from their discard pile whem knock-out

Support - they could either be, supproting you main attacker through their attacks or poke-powers or poke bodies for greater damage, having a significant amount of damage on itself but not as efficient as your main attacker. They are also used to counter the weaknesses of your pokemon. But if you have a good-set up and things to counter weaknesses then you have no fear to encounter opponents that hlds the weakness of your pokemon.

Starters - Although they may have average to low damage attacks, thety are the most vital of all pokemon cards in your deck. Starters are usually, to search for something in your deck (or even your discard pile), stall, and support. The higher their HP (haymakers) the more they can stand longer. As another note for playing evolines, choose their basic pokemon that have efficient attacks that usually help their own as they evolve.

Still you could some good card players league leader for further help. Stay tuned for more.
