Hello!!! Just to remind you guys that since there is a tournament on August 20and the pre-release on 27, leagues scheduled on those days are closed (except on Megamall if they have a debut) on that day.
However, if there are players who did not join the tourney, I will accomapany them and possibly give league points. If I'm asked to judge the tourney, I will still be there to see the players.
Now, for a small part of deck 101. There many pokemon-TCg related sites that can help you. But sometimes, it is usually better to ask within your home country and with interaction rather than reading through the guides.
Anyway, after collecting some info on deck guides the following are the contenets of your deck to make it quite competitive.
Pokemon-
Main Attacker
Support
Starters
In the deck-building section of the pokebeach they enumerated the Trainer cards line most decks have. These are:
The best line up for your Trainer line is.
* 4-6 Drawing Cards
* 4 Cards that can refresh your hand.
* 3-6 Stadium
* 2-3 Basic Pokemon Searching Cards
* 3-4 Other Pokemon Searching
* 5-10 Staple cards
As long as you have those cards, you'll have a good trainer line. ( I will give the definitions of these as I write the a continuation of this article and/or in the posts).
For energy cards, if your trainer line does little search of energies then you must increase your energies in the deck. But if you have good searching cards (trainer cards and pokemon cards) for energies, than you can go on to upgrading your pokemon for addtional damage and good draw power. This is what I observe for those decks with 15 energies only in their decks.
More deck strategies and samples of cards that can benifit your decks' strength on the upcoming related articles. Till then...
