let me just repeat it again prize system does not work the way it should with accordance to pop this i know because ive been a player for more than 2 years and im a net person kaya alam ko na mag kaiba talaga ang prize system so dont get ur hopes up bout the so called 2 boosters for completing the event
but on the contrary tournament organizers (Neutral Grounds) have certain rights on how much they would charge the players and also the right to change prize structure. as to the limit of this rights i never did bother knowing what they are

Yup. The prize structure that NG provides does not follow the one that is being adopted by POP. Based on what i have read participants should have 2 additional boosters for completing the pre-release game. In this case everybody wins and nobody will go home without a booster. The increase in the entrance is said to have been because of the additional charges imposed by POP. This i don't have a verification and needs a confirmation. All in all it is good that we have events to support the gaming community however players/customers satisfaction should also be given a consideration in running those various events.

maybe the 200php was really too much.. maybe aside from POP then maybe the rents for the location was also a big factor. so if two ore additional boosters was given after completing the event does it mean FOR example I win 4 matches I happen to get 4 booster plus the 2 additional booster because I completed the event, I will receive total 6 boosters? or Its different? *wink* *wink*

Nge. You mean this 2 price booster pack price for players who complete the event is an old rule of POP? Don't get me wrong but should not the official distributors of the game follow the given rules on tournaments including the prizes to be given away. With regards entrance fees... I must agree that I read somewhere that they do have the right to change the price if needed but POP gives a range right? But the prizes... noooo "Waaa?!? So... the bottom line is... Should you go or not?" If you have the means please do go. A week ago I was looking for international Pokemon fans when I came upon this guy from Pakistan. I talked to him and I found us lucky even with all these issues because in Pakistan they didn't have an Pokemon Leagues nor Pokemon in that matter. Be thankful that we have Cartoon Network airing Pokemon and NG sponsoring these events. If you have the means... go if not hehe join the rally  200 pesos is a lot if we are not addopting the bonus 2 boosters. It's more expensive to host an event at Galleria than in Podium? |

it is either you play and get a booster pack for every win OR we either get to 2 boosters by completing the event OR we can have both the offers..
A TRIAL and ERROR thing.. you dont join you will not experienced anything specially the fun and the challenges awaits you or you can just watch and witness how players suffer the issue. Remember because this things are already within our knowledge therefore we can partially observe.
BUT.. does anyone around have the VOICE to give a COMMENT PERSONALLY? hehehe
it is understandable for pins and deck boxes "while supply last because NG and POP are not sure for the number of participants that will be joining on the said event.
No news what deck box will be given away or maybe we can have it by October 28 - 29 as the pre-release for the US will be happening...

I think NG needs competitors, hehe. Why is it that only NG sponsors pokemon event, can't any other else sponsor such events?

Because Nintendo (PUI) gave Neutral the license to operate, manage events of the TCG in the country.
Like Wizards of the Coast (the time Pokemon Japan gave them the authority to print the English cards) before giving a local distributor (better not say the name) the license to operate.
What ever the qualifications PUI made is there own knowledge.
Oo nga pala, may nagsabi na if you will go or not...you are the only one who can answer that.

actually we does'nt know if NG is the main distributor of pokemon here in the country, although they are the only card shop that has the authority to held pokemon premiere events, because there are maybe some independent card shop that are ordering stocks from other countries to sell pokemon cards in here yet they dont have any power to held such events because it is only one in the country.
anyways, the set are coming in our way, 10 more days and we are having a new set of maybe one of the greatest expansions coming before the year ends.
