Since most of us are getting back in the TCG could anyone from the veteran players and collector help us out by posting the trading, selling, and buying trends here in the Philippines.
How to trade your cards? What if someone wants to buy yours? How will we price it?
I can't use the international price guides on card game magazines since I'm pretty sure those prices won't apply here in the country.

The rarity of card is on the lower right of it.
Circle: Commom Diamond: Uncommon Star: Rare Type of Rares Non-rare holo Holo Rares Ex Rare Star pokemon
Reverse foiled cards (the one with expansion name on the picture of the pokemon) are slightly higher.
Basis of cards prices: 1. Rarity 2. playability: this is regardless of the actual prices of the rarity. 3. Collectability
Common Prices:
Basic Energy cards: P5.00 (this do not include the holo matrix energy cards) Common Cards: P10.00/15.00 for their reverse foil equivalent Uncommon: P20.00/25-30 for their revers foil equivalent (However there are very playable uncommon cards that are higher. Rare candy for example is P150.00-P200.00. You will get lucky if there you could buy one for P50.00) Rares: Non-holo: P50.00/P60.00-P75.00 on reverse foil equivalent Holo Rare: P100.00 EX's: P150.00 Star Pokemon: P250.00 (for collectors it is very high) (prices vary depending on playability) Special Energy cards (Metal and Dark are examples) P40.00 is the lowest but P50.00 is the most common price.
Trades:
Common to Common Uncommon to Uncommon/2 Common Cards Non-holo rares to non-holo rares/2 uncommon Holo Rare to holo-rare/ 3 uncommon/ 2 non-holo rare EX's to Ex's/2 Holo Rare/3 Non-holo Star Pokemon to 2 EX's/2 Holo Rares (this changes depending on playability and holo foils follow this scheme)

Just to give some helpful comments :
1. EX's pokes today are expensive you cannot sold them by around 150php nowadays (excluding the EX's pokes from older expansions ) The lowest probably would be 300 php depending on the deal and the highest would be 700php most of all before purchasing any cards or trading this would be some helpful tips :
a. check the condition first from minted to used b. check if the cards would be very fitted to your desire deck c. check if that cards will be useful or not to you in the future before you purchase it. d. and make sure everything is a fair trade like what prof. raymund has explained before. e. and the last would be read all cards first before purhasing it or trading it from other players.
this is all base on experienced, hehehe kaya ingat ingat sa bili at purchase kasi baka hindi mo magamit !!!

Of course ALL traders need to establish a sence of trust so (BTW: i got this of e-bay), after trading (suppose you go to a certain location, i.e. Starbucks, and trade but the conditions were not fulfiled, like not mint condition, charging higher that agreed, then we should say so like comment of the traders ability to fulfil his part) Just suggesting we right like comments after every trade like.
Example: Poke Prof is a good and reliable trader. He is punctual and even gave me more cards than agreed!!

Also, it is only on the theme decks you will get a non-holo rare versioon of a holo-rare card even though it is holo-rare in the card list.
It's price is between the non-holo and holo rare range. Reprinted trainer cards still follow the same price scheme. Keep your trainer cards even though they get out in the Modified format at certain time. Their value will depreciate until a spoiler of a certain set reprinted it as well in the official English set.

if you think Pokemon TCG is harsh, try Magic: the Gathering or VS System. now those are harsh. believe me, i know. there once was a time when i played those cards. those were bad times...

Magic is a serious world but NBA Trading cards are weird. You can see people with tons of albums sitting outside of card shops...
