Starter decks are always worth the money. but soon as you go out and attend weekly leagues soon you will realize what are the cards that is really a necessity to your deck. FROM the word itself A starter experience.
I will go for green cyclone, very flexible indeed specially when you concentrate on grass pokemon. hahaha

I'm seeing alot of status-inducer pokemons and special energies. I might change my mind after I have read all of the available cards. BTW, which Blastoise is in storm surge? the pure water-typeor the other one? |

PANG - ASAR PA AKO ? hahaha your asking for a starter deck, and besides that is only my suggestion.  go for the green, because as of this moment there are no good combo to blastoise hahaha [glow=red,2,300]CONFUSION !!! [/glow]

the worst part of it all.... there's a new expansion coming.... hhaaayyy naku.... if i were rich. this is not a prob, but since i am not, i have to consider my decisions. i'll check muna ung list ng precons sa bagong expansion. i like blastie coz ung water attack. prob is... venus have a better version plus a second attack that rocks. hehehehe.... hanap lang ako ng iba pang bagay na cards.

If I were you wait for the new expansion together with its precons because the actual pokemon pre-con in Japan for the EX DRAGON FRONTIERS contains powerful ex's like gardevoir d ex and the exagerated tyranitar d ex hahaha
or you can save your money and make it to a thousand so that you can actually join the pre-releases for the upcoming expansions.
