With all the excitement that the nationals were coming up i put up a superb deck...regretfully i remember the rules of the certain set pataas...you see all my cards are old school(wizards era this includes base set and etc)...so i need advice how do i get a good at least decent deck to use in the nationals...i thought of buying a starter deck but will that be enough? Need your advice on this one and More Power to this Board (shocked talaga ako na may nationals sa philippines kala ko nga patay na ang pokemon tcg)

Good to see that we've spread the word about Pokemon here in the Philippines. We will be taking pictures on saturday to show the whole world (hehe PKMNph has already been visited by people from more than 20 countries) that Pokemon is alive and kicking here in our counrty. Your first priority... get a premade deck that fits the modified format. After that... you can build up on that. Don't worry maraming people na kagaya mo. Kita kits nalang sa Saturday. If you do need ore answers to your questions regarding the TCG we have pokemonprof here.

Need your advice on this one and More Power to this Board (shocked talaga ako na may nationals sa philippines kala ko nga patay na ang pokemon tcg) You can still use trainer cards that are reprinted in the present expansions (switch, warp point, poke ball, masterball, super scoop up. believe me it helps a lot in terms of speed). If you wish to buy a theme deck, unseen forces (the one with thyplo), legend maker, and if you want to a delta pokemon based deck delta species (the salamence one is preferred) are the top choices. To know the contents of the theme deck check either at pokebeach or the pokegym. Another is buying trainer kit no.2 which contains one of the sought supporters, Celio's Network. Since you are still returning , every trianer card is almost wanted just to speed the set-up. Good draw power is now limited to supporter cards in the current game. This is now the third National tournament and there have been a lot of pre-releases and city tournaments in the past years. So it not "dead". Some are not yet aware that the game is still here. |

Thanks alot guys! i guess i (possibly many others) thought it was dead due to poor adverts thats just my opinion though. One last question for you Prof. Where can I buy these theme decks and about how much? Thankyou in advance!

But it is dependent on the branch kung meron yung previous ones if you intend to follow my suggetions. There is also courtside. The themedeck is 600 Php (not sure if 650) to all stores I mentioned. Trainer kit number two is around 500+. It comes with an extra booster. |

Meron po ba kayon maisusugest sakin na deck ung ex series basta malakas...
Meron na po kc ako ng "Green Cyclone" na may dalawang swalot, but I don't know what deck to be combined with it... Any suggestions?

I suggest na booster pack nalang ang bilin mo to find the cards you need/want and then trade the other cards that you do not need for another to find the perfect pokemon/s for your deck.
